L>R clockwise: Roscoe Golding, Eva Nineveh, Audrey Beryl,
Jennie Blake Golding, Wayne Roscoe. Their first three children died, probably in a diphtheria epidemic.
The 1905 South Dakota Census records the Golding's statement that they moved to South Dakota in 1898.
Read Roscoe Golding's and David H. Derrickson's description of Spearfish, D.T. written for the Taylor County Republican, 13 FEB 1884.
The records of Rose Hill Cemetery, in Spearfish, locate the family plots in Block B, Section 2, Lot 13. The records also date Wayne's dates as identical to Roscoe's - 1859-1928. Since Roscoe did not have a twin brother who died the same year he did, we must assume an error and that this is Wayne's grave. One day maybe someone can verify the information on a visit.
Back row: Baby, Clyde Arthur Stewart, Audrey Beryl Golding Stewart, Jennie Blake, Raber baby, John Raber (Nancy's son-in-law, he married daughter Gladeth)
Front row: Nancy Kyser Blake (Jennie's mother), Child; circa late 1920s
(The identities of two family members above have been omitted on request.)
Thomas Golding home in Shelby Indiana. The Golding family started Missionary Baptist churches in Indiana and Iowa.
