Captain Nathan Austin Pool served in Company K, 7th North Carolina Infantry.

Charles Burke Pool
Charles Burke Pool's first wife, Delia Grimmet, was born 25 MAY 1865 and died 22 APR 1895. Delia Burke is buried in Rehobeth Cemetery. She's listed on the 1880 Dallas County TX Census as the daughter of M. Grimmet, sister to Wm N., Macklin (nephew), and James J. The Pool's lived near the Grimmett family but the relationship between this Delia Grimmet and Cordelia Grimmett, the wife of John Harrison Posey, born 24 FEB 1886 and died 30 JAN 1919, is unclear.

Charles Burke Pool is listed as "Barles B Pool" in the 1910 Dallas County TX Census. He's married to Orienta Wolf.

In the 1920 Ellis County TX Census he's listed as "Charley B. Pool," with Orienta and his family. He lives next door to his son Olin's family, and to Walker Stewart and his family

J.B. Pool has purchased of Dr. J.E. Payne practically all of the Payne Addition which had not theretofore been sold. Mr. Pool has great faith in Grand Prairie dirt.
