According to the 1880 Rains County Census Annie is at home with her father Daniel, her brother Alexander, her sisters Emma and Dink. In the 1900 Dallas County Census Annie is widowed, living with her brother Alexander and her widowed sister Mary Florence. She lives with her brother Alexander in 1920, but goes by the name Dunlap. Because her maiden name is used on her headstone, perhaps her marriage was short-lived.

A family record from Maggie Stewart indicates that Anne and T.J. Dunlap lived as man and wife for only about six months.

I have searched and searched for a Judson in our family line, and not only are there no Judsons to be found, but almost none anywhere in the South at the time Anne was born. I suspect that she may have been named after Ann Hasseltine Judson, the wife of the famed missionary Adoniram Judson. They traveled to India in 1812 shortly after they were married.

Her letters home were published in periodicals such as American Baptists Magazine and republished after her death as devotional writings, making both her and Adoniram celebrities in America.
There are a few members of the family named Lorenzo Dow [Surname], and I found that Lorenzo Dow was a famed minister. According to Wikipedia, "The 1850 U.S. census lists Lorenzo as one of the most popular first names in America."
